WINTER YAM & NORI BROTH (Winter Solstice Guide)

Ingredients:

3 yams, peeled and sliced
1 bunch carrots, chopped
1 bunch scallions, sliced
4 sheets nori, torn into pieces 3 tbsp brown rice syrup 3 tbsp coconut aminos or tamari Water

Instructions:

Place yams and carrots in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook until tender. Add nori and scallions and simmer briefly. Remove from heat and stir in brown rice syrup and coconut aminos or tamari. Serve hot.
