STEWED SPRING PLUM COMPOTE (Spring Digestion Guide)
Ingredients:
4–5 fresh spring plums, sliced
Juice of 1 orange
1/2 tsp grated ginger
1–2 tsp maple syrup (optional, to taste) Pinch of sea salt
Instructions:
Place all ingredients in a small saucepan. Simmer gently on low heat for 15–20 minutes, until the plums soften and release their juices. Let cool slightly. Serve warm or chilled—alone, or over a simple millet porridge.
