SAN DOU (THREE BEAN DETOX) (Summer Detox Guide)

Ingredients:

1⁄3 cup each: black beans, adzuki beans, mung beans
Splash of lemon juice (for soaking) Water

Instructions:

Soak beans overnight with lemon juice. Rinse and cover with water (about 3 inches above beans). Bring to a boil. After 15–20 minutes, once beans begin to crack open, pour off some cooking water and drink warm—this is the most cooling and detoxifying portion. Continue simmering remaining beans 30–40 minutes until soft.
